Purpose of Establishment
The Lifelong Education Center's purpose, along with the government's lifelong education center establishment purpose, is in training creative and knowledgeable people who can play a leading role in the knowledge-based society of the 21st Century based on the founding philosophy of the 60-year-old educational foundation, Woosong Academy, which was established to nurture talented people to practice self-reliance, decency, and upright conduct.
Especially, in response to the demand of the time when the qualitative change and quantitative expansion of knowledge, technology, and information are accelerating faster than ever in the age of lifelong education and the age of 100 years-of-life, the purpose is to provide a moving educational service that can contribute to the local society, breathe, and learn with the local people by providing an education center for continuous education.
