Korean Language Program
Note: Woosong College will reopen international admissions for Korean Language Course in Fall quarter of 2026.
Eligibility for Application
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- Foreign nationals with non-Korean parents
- Foreign nationals who have attended high school abroad for more than 2 years
- Foreign nationals who have completed at least 12 years of primary and secondary education (elementary, middle, and high school)
Required Documents
All documents must be submitted in the following order.
Documents written in foreign languages must be accompanied by a Korean or English translation.
For All Applicants
- Application for Admission
- Curriculum Vitae (CV)
- Self-Introduction
- Study Plan
- Affidavit of Financial Support
- Graduation Certificate or Certificate of Expected Graduation (original, photocopy, and translation)
- Official High School Transcript (notarized with an apostille)
- Photocopy of parents’ ID card or passport
- Photocopy of applicant’s passport
- Certificate of Bank Balance
- Must show a minimum deposit of USD $3,000 in the sponsor's name
- Application Fee: KRW 50,000 (approx. USD $50)
Student Management Policy
- Strict academic advisor system in place
- Temporary absence from school is not allowed without prior approval
- Students who permanently withdraw or take unauthorized leave must return to their home country
- Illegal stay and unauthorized employment are strictly prohibited.
