- Vision
- To cultivate top-tier domestic experts in animal science who possess self-directed leadership, creativity, and hands-on capabilities, based on the 3Ps: Personality, Professionalism, Practice.

- With two majors—Pet Grooming and Animal Management—we aim to foster skilled animal professionals grounded in animal welfare and compassion who can take responsibility for comprehensive companion animal care.
Department Overview
The Division of Companion Animal Science is a long-established department that values animals as family and prioritizes the dignity of life in education.
As nuclear families and aging populations reshape household structures and quality of life improves, the demand for companion animals has surged—driving rapid growth in the related industries.
In response, we educate students to treat animals with love and equip them with professional knowledge and practical skills. The department is divided into two specialized majors—Animal Management and Pet Grooming—to provide in-depth, career-oriented education through a career mapping system that prepares students to become competent professionals after graduation.
All training is conducted at Woosong Companion Animal Academy, equipped with facilities specific to each major.
We also operate a semester-abroad program with Chiba Animal and Pet College (Japan), including tuition support and optional dispatch for interested students.
Animal Management Major
This major focuses on cultivating top-tier animal professionals equipped with both expert knowledge and practical skills needed in diverse animal-related industries.
Through hands-on field training and commissioned education programs, students are trained for careers in animal care, training, behavioral correction, and aquarist roles.
Pet Grooming Major
This major aims to train globally competent pet groomers with advanced theoretical and practical grooming skills.
With the best domestic grooming labs and distinguished faculty from Korea and Japan, the program equips students with top-tier national and global grooming techniques to become elite pet stylists.
