Purpose and Overview of Establishment
It was established in March 1987 by introducing a unique curriculum and teaching method that consists of lecturers who are all foreign professor in order to actively cope with the rapidly-changing, international society, and to provide efficient, foreign-language-learning opportunities, and to improve practical foreign language skills, especially in this era of globalization. Currently, the faculty has 54 foreign professors, including 50 native English speakers and 4 Chinese.
Organization and Composition
For efficient program operation and facility management, the Foreign Language Education Center has a Chief of Foreign Language Education who oversees all duties, and they have a director and staff below them.

- Opening and management of special lecture courses for housewives and children. For on-going education, morning English conversation and afternoon English conversation courses are in operation.
